Members' Only Digital Exhibit

KAEA as a professional organization values the commitment art teachers have to keeping themselves active and growing as artists.  We know that students benefit from learning from a teacher that is still actively engaged in the creative process themselves.  We encourage members to submit artwork for the KAEA Members Only Digital Exhibit.  The exhibition will be judged in three categories with the top award in each category being Best of Category and two Honorable Mentions. 

This year the KAEA Members Only Digital Exhibit will be viewed at the Nerman Musueum of Contemporary Art before the awards banquet Friday, October 25th from 4:30-5:30pm in the Regnier Center and awards presented on Saturday, October 26th at 8:15am at Shawnee Mission South High School.

Requirements for e-Exhibit submissions:
  •  # of Entries:  Two per person
  • Format:          JPG
  • Size:                1024x768 (13.65”x10.24”) @72ppi  - file size not to exceed 3 MG
  • Name:      Category (2D, 3D or DM)  - Last Name, First Name, Entry # (1 or 2)Example:  Jane Smith has two entries – one drawing and one digital photo.

2D - Drawing, Painting, Prints, Analog Photography
3D – Stuff that’s not flat!
DM (Digital Media) – Digital Drawing, Digital Imaging, Digital Photography

Judging by Larry Thomas, Prof./Chair Fine Arts & Photography Department at Johnson County Community College

Awards:  Best of Category and two Honorable Mentions in each category
